Product Details
The SMA-TW is an economical break-over torque wrench for tightening SMA connectors to a consistent, repeatable torque, which protects connectors and improves the reliability of RF and microwave measurements. The break-over action releases once the set torque is reached, preventing over-tightening, and the standard 5/16-inch (8 mm) opening also fits 3.5 mm and 2.92 mm connectors. It is offered in two calibrated settings, 5 in·lb for brass connectors and 8 in·lb for stainless-steel connectors, and each wrench is hand-calibrated in California.
