The OEWG-WR137 is a C-band rectangular open-ended waveguide probe covering 5.85 to 8.2 GHz with a broad, well-behaved radiation pattern and typical gain near 7 dBi. Open-ended waveguides are the standard low-gain reference for antenna pattern and EMC measurement, near-field probing, and as a clean low-directivity source. The tapered aperture edges suppress diffraction for cleaner patterns. It presents a standard WR-137 (UG-441/U) waveguide flange; an optional AntenX SMA-WR137 coax-to-waveguide adapter adds an SMA interface for direct cabling.
