The OEWG-WR90 is an X-band rectangular open-ended waveguide probe covering 8.2 to 12.4 GHz with a broad, well-behaved radiation pattern and typical gain near 7 dBi. Open-ended waveguides are the standard low-gain reference for antenna pattern and EMC measurement, near-field probing, and as a clean low-directivity source. The tapered aperture edges suppress diffraction for cleaner patterns. It presents a standard WR-90 (UG-135/U) waveguide flange; an optional AntenX SMA-WR90 coax-to-waveguide adapter adds an SMA interface for direct cabling.
