Product Details

The SGH-WR62 is a Ku-band standard gain horn, a pyramidal waveguide horn covering 12.4 to 18 GHz with symmetric E- and H-plane radiation patterns and well-characterized gain rising to about 16 dBi. Standard gain horns are the workhorse reference for gain-by-substitution antenna measurements, and this one also serves as a clean illuminator for EMC testing and as a reflector or lens feed. It presents a standard WR-62 (UG-1665/U) waveguide flange; an optional AntenX SMA-WR62 coax-to-waveguide adapter adds an SMA interface for direct cabling.

  • Pyramidal standard gain horn with symmetric E- and H-plane patterns (typ ~34° HPBW) across the full 12.4 to 18 GHz band.
  • Primary use is as a reference antenna for gain-by-substitution measurement; also suited to EMC testing, reflector and lens feeds, and over-the-air test setups.
