The OEWG-WR62 is a Ku-band rectangular open-ended waveguide probe covering 12.4 to 18 GHz with a broad, well-behaved radiation pattern and typical gain near 7 dBi. Open-ended waveguides are the standard low-gain reference for antenna pattern and EMC measurement, near-field probing, and as a clean low-directivity source. The tapered aperture edges suppress diffraction for cleaner patterns. It presents a standard WR-62 (UG-1665/U) waveguide flange; an optional AntenX SMA-WR62 coax-to-waveguide adapter adds an SMA interface for direct cabling.
