The MPA8000 is a 16-element planar microstrip patch antenna array covering 8 to 15 GHz, spanning X-band and the lower Ku-band. It delivers a symmetric, directional main beam with gain up to 17 dBi from a low-profile panel that is far thinner than an equivalent horn, which makes it easy to mount on a mast or surface where a bulky aperture will not fit. The array is linearly polarized and housed in a water-resistant enclosure with pole-mount hardware included, suiting it to directional links, radar and sensing, signal monitoring, and outdoor test installations.
